Got a story for Warrington?
news@neolocalnews.co.ukTell us what happened, where and when, and how you know. Community projects, local events, sport, council updates and good news are all welcome. You don’t need to write an article.
We use AI to prepare private drafts and check for supporting public evidence every 22 minutes during newsroom hours, 7am–11.30pm UK time. Suitable stories may be published automatically after those checks. Anything sensitive, unclear or needing consent stays with our editors for review. Your email address stays private. Sending a tip does not guarantee publication.
Photos and documents welcome. Attach JPG, PNG or WebP photos, or PDFs: up to 5 files, 5 MB each and 10 MB of files in total. PDFs can have up to 20 pages. Keep the whole email under 20 MB and the story text under 12,000 characters.
Include a few words about what the files show, the location and date. Only send files you have permission to share, and tell us who took a photo. Leave out sensitive personal information and remove any hidden location or camera details you do not want the newsroom to receive. Files stay private during checking; sending a photo does not give us permission to publish it. Supported photos and PDFs may be sent to OpenAI for automatic analysis. Publication rights and any necessary consent must be separately confirmed before an original file is used in a story.
