Something
we should put right?
Accuracy is an ongoing responsibility. If you have spotted a factual error or important missing context, help us understand it.
Make the correction easy to check.
Use the correction link at the bottom of the article, or open the form below. Please include:
- The article title or link.
- The particular statement you believe is wrong.
- The corrected information and any reliable public source that supports it.
You will need to sign in to submit a private request and check its status. Your contact details will not be published.
What happens next?
The request is checked against the report and its sources. A material correction will be shown with a dated note on the article. If the basis for a report is no longer reliable, it may be held or withdrawn while it is reviewed.
A submitted request does not automatically change a published article. The submission status shows where the request is in the review process; it is not a guarantee of a particular outcome.
Withdrawing your own tip.
You can remove the text and private contact details of a contribution through your submissions. If it has already informed a published story, that story will need a separate editorial review.
