Warrington Town targets November finish for pitch fencing replacement
The club says the new perimeter is intended to meet updated FA requirements.
Warrington Town says replacement perimeter fencing at the GXO Stadium is due to be completed before the home game against Guiseley on 21 November.
In its 28 October update, the club said a team led by chairman Toby Macormac had begun dismantling the old wall despite difficult weather.
The work involves taking out concrete panels, posts and advertising-board frames before new fencing is installed. The club says the replacement will meet new Football Association requirements.
The announcement does not confirm that the project is finished. Its separate volunteer session was scheduled for 1 November, a date which has now passed.
