Bus diversions in Lymm and Winwick start on 23 October
Warrington’s Own Buses lists two upcoming road closures, with shuttles planned to help passengers connect.
In Lymm, services 5A and 5B will divert along the A56 to Sale Metrolink from 23 to 26 October 2026 inclusive. Cable works will close New Road, Rush Green Road and Birchbrook Road. A daily shuttle is planned between Sale and Partington.
In Winwick, Myddleton Lane works will divert service 19 from 23 October to 1 November 2026 inclusive. The operator lists a daily Winwick–Culcheth shuttle connecting with the diverted service.
